Mango Avocado & Spinach Smoothie

This creamy mango spinach smoothie is the only green smoothie you ever need to try. It's packed with a ton of nutrients, is vegan and gluten-free, and tastes like a sweet yet tangy dream.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ an avocado
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina powder
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • ½ cup spinach
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup soy milk

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to your blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth, adding more milk or water as desired.

Notes

If you want a thicker smoothie, add less milk/add a little bit at a time and blend until you've reached the desired consistency. For a thinner smoothie, add more milk! 
You can use any non-dairy milk you prefer, or you can use water.
Depending on your blender, you might need to blend for a longer amount of time to obtain a smooth consistency. You may also need to add more liquid. I recommend adding liquid 1-2 tablespoons at a time. 
You can leave the lemon juice out or replace it with lime.
Feel free to replace the spirulina with your favorite protein powder. I recommend a vanilla flavor! 
Mango can be swapped for frozen pineapple.
