Rich and indulgent, this healthy chocolate avocado mousse is a crowd pleasing dessert that's made with just 4 plant-based ingredients. It's incredibly easy to make and comes together in only 10 minutes! 


  • 2 avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 cup dutch-processed cocoa powder, sifted
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, optional


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or a high-speed blender and process until smooth, making sure you're stopping every few minutes to scrape down the sides.
  2. Divide the mousse into the cups or glasses you intend to serve the mousse in, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Top with a dollop of coconut cream and dark chocolate shavings, enjoy! 


Store your chocolate avocado mousse in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Taste and adjust before chilling. Depending on the size of your avocados, you might want more maple syrup or cocoa powder.
